Role Overview
AYVYA Consulting is seeking a Senior Accountant to support offshore finance and accounting engagements for startups, SMEs, and professional services firms, primarily in the USA. This role is suited for professionals who value structured delivery, governance, and hands-on responsibility in global finance operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver end-to-end accounting support, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Execute month-end and year-end close activities with defined review and control checkpoints
- Prepare management reports, schedules, and analyses aligned with client requirements
- Support payroll coordination, tax compliance support, and audit-ready documentation
- Follow established governance, documentation, and quality standards across engagement
- Collaborate with client teams across time zones with clear ownership and accountability
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (CA Inter / CA preferred)
- Strong grounding in accounting principles and financial reporting
- Experience working with offshore or global clients (US exposure preferred)
- Familiarity with accounting tools, ERPs, and structured close processes
- High attention to detail, documentation discipline, and compliance awareness
